The Stiip Rider's Disclaimer
Before you tap Generate, read this. It's mostly a joke. Mostly.
The deal
You asked for hilly. Stiip will give you hilly. That's the whole deal. No sandbagging, no secret flat shortcut home. If a road goes up, Stiip has probably found it.
What to expect
- Walls in your face. Some roads just go straight up. Those gradients were always there. You just found them.
- Roads you never knew existed. Tiny, mean little climbs, two kilometers from your house. You can't un-know them now.
- Detours you didn't ask for. On a nice flat road home? Stiip will pull you off it, send you up a little rural lane for a 2 km loop of pure climbing, then spit you back out exactly where you left. You're welcome.
- The near-home ambush. You're two kilometers from your door, completely cooked, dreaming of the couch. Surprise: one last wall. Stiip saved it just for you.
- Down never means done. Every lovely descent is just Stiip winding up the next climb. Enjoy the free speed while it lasts.
- The scenic tax. The prettiest roads are almost never the flat ones. Stiip knows. Stiip picks them anyway.
- A profile like a saw blade. Up, down, up, down. Flat is a rumor. You will get very familiar with your easiest gear.
- No easy mode. Stiip does not do "gentle." Ask for hilly and you will get hilly, every single time.
The rules of the road
- Bring your legs. Show up fit, or turn around. A hard route won't be kind to soft legs.
- Mind your heart. It's doing a lot of work up there. Be nice to it.
- Keep your head, especially going down. In a loop, every meter of D+ is also a meter of D-. Everything you climb, you descend, and usually faster and twistier than you'd like. Brake early, ease into the bends, and don't let cooked legs pick a lazy line. Safety first. The KOM can wait.
- A break is allowed. Too hard? Stop, breathe, eat a snack. No shame in it.
The fine print
We take no responsibility for the walls, the suffering, or the sudden urge to buy easier gears. But the view from the top? That one's on us.
The hills are worth it. Go find them.
